One of the most important part of our life plays undeniably family. Your parents and grandparents are the ones who sees the future in you and who tries to give you all the knowledge they collected during their life for you to create the best story of your life. As I grew older, I more and more realised how interesting is the life story of their own. I realised that the stories they tell me are really something unique and I decided to dedicate my final high school thesis to the story of my grandparents. Of my grandfather who was a diplomat, writer and photographer. Of my grandmother who fell in love with him. Of my grandparents who together travelled to China, Korea and Afghanistan and whose travels and luxurious life was ended because of communists.

This book is testimony of three generations of my family. My grandfather’s artwork (poetry, travel – books and photography), my father’s and grandmother’s story about him and my graphic and final execution.
